Thursday Nights at the Bandstand

The popular free music series “Thursday Nights at the Bandstand” hits the stage on consecutive Thursday evenings throughout July and August. Performances each Thursday evening run from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Unionville’s Millennium Bandstand, located at the iconic corner of Main Street and Fred Varley Drive.

Founded by Bill Dawson, the series reached a major milestone when Bill wrapped up his final successful season in 2024. Following a hiatus in 2025 due to the Main Street Restoration construction project, the event enters a vibrant new era. During this transition, the Unionville Business Improvement Area (UBIA) proudly stepped in as a co-organizer to preserve this cherished community tradition and help welcome successor Lou Tucci.

Moving forward under this new collaborative leadership, the series continues its proud legacy of bringing world-class live music to the heart of the community. Together, they attract talented Canadian, International, and Local performers to the outdoor Millennium Bandstand for all to enjoy free of charge. From blues to jazz to funk to soul to vintage hits and classical guitar, award-winning musicians bring their unique sounds to life on the Millennium stage.
